1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 3/4 cups water with one 6 oz. can of tomato paste.
2. Mix packet contents with water and tomato pasta in saucepan.
3. Heat on medium-high and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and simmer until desired thickness is reached.
4. Add sauce to freshly prepared pasta.
Makes 4 servings.
Substitute 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce and _ cup water or 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes and 1/3 cup water for tomato paste and water.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Top with freshly sliced Portabella mushrooms.
